Sherri Dockree
Organizational Culture & Wellbeing Advisor | ICF Accredited Coach | MindWave Co
I work at the intersection of conscious leadership, psychological health and safety, and workplace wellbeing — helping organizations build environments where every person can do their best work.
I'm also someone who has navigated ADHD my whole life. That lived experience doesn't just inform my work — it shapes how I see organizations, how I listen to leaders, and why I believe so deeply in what I do.
Conscious leadership isn't a trend. It's a responsibility — shared by organizations and the people in them.
My work is grounded in a conviction I've held for a long time: that creating healthy, effective workplaces is a shared endeavour. Conscious leadership means recognizing that universally designed environments benefit everyone — and that both organizations and the individuals within them have a role to play in building them. Not one side carrying the other, but both bringing awareness, intention and accountability to the table.
When both sides show up to that shared responsibility, something shifts. It's not just that neurodivergent staff are better supported — it's that the entire organization benefits. People are recognized for how they actually think and work. They flourish. The work of the organization gets done better.
That's not a woke aspiration. It's an organizational design principle backed by evidence — and it's the lens I bring to every engagement.
"When you understand how your people think, you stop managing symptoms and start solving the right problem."
With a background as a corporate executive overseeing multi-unit operations across two provinces and team development, I understand organizational pressure from the inside. My subsequent career in coaching, consulting and training has been built on translating neuroscience and psychological health research into practical, usable tools — for leaders, for teams, and for the organizations trying to hold it all together.
The expertise behind the work.
I hold formal credentials in coaching and applied neuroscience, and have trained with organizations including the Canadian Mental Health Association, McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School affiliate programs, CADDRA, and others. My training spans coaching, neuroscience, mental health, psychological health and safety, and leadership — and it keeps growing.

A little about the person behind the practice.
I live with my husband Dusty and our goldendoodle Fergus in the village of St. George, Ontario, where we are slowly and lovingly transforming a 1911 farmhouse into our forever home. We have six grown children and six grandchildren, and share a deep love for travel, camping and being in nature.
Our adventures have taken us across Canada and to places including Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands, Iceland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy and Portugal. Scotland is next on the list — and I cannot wait.
During the pandemic, Dusty and I fostered and trained Harmony — a golden retriever puppy — for Autism Dog Services, preparing her to support a young boy with autism in his forever family. One of the best things we've ever done.
